Confirm your specialty and year of study
Some concentrations are open only to students in specific specialties or in their final year of study. Review the options available to make sure you understand your eligibility before applying.
Required first step
Meet with your academic advisor, then upload a signed Concentration Advisor Approval Form. This form is required to submit your application.

2026-2027 Charge
$8,700
A concentration adds a charge equal to four credits at the prevailing YSN per-credit rate. For students who begin a concentration in fall 2026 or spring 2027, the cost is $8,700. For students who begin in fall 2027 or later, the cost will be incrementally higher, based on the per-credit rate set for that year.

Please Note
Policies & Requirements
- Applicants may apply to more than one concentration but may enroll in a maximum of two.
- Students enrolling in two concentrations may include no more than one from the following group: GHSJ, Diabetes, and Oncology. These three cannot be paired with one another.
- Admission is contingent upon continued satisfactory academic progress.
- Applications are reviewed by the concentration faculty director and your academic advisor. You will receive an email once a decision has been made.
